FINALLY! TOUGH HINGE PINS! THESE ARE NOT SCREWS, THESE ARE CUSTOM MADE HINGE PINS FOR YOUR VEHICLE!
These hinge pins are made using 4140 tool steel. hardened and black oxide coated.
We use a 4mm lock nut to secure the pins to ensure that nothing pops out on 1 end and a machined head on the other end.
NOTE: These pins are intended for use with the factory plastic parts. If you are going to use these with metal hubs, you will need to either use a 4.1mm drill or just wiggle the drill a little and open the hole up. You cannot put a 4mm pin into a 4mm hole in metal. That’s called a press fit.
KIT CONTENTS:
2 hinge pins
2 4mm lock nuts
2 plastic flat washers
NOTE: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN 4MM LOCK NUT. LOCK TIGHT IS NOT NEEDED.
